Me and my shadow

For those of you thinking I've finally lost it (and I probably have), that's a Thrush. Geddit? Because these childcare-free days and nights honestly didn't seem long enough, you know, without my BFF turning up to hang out. Again.

  2. This is awesome - I had no idea what you were talking about with the "thrush" till I read the comments. It must be English slang for your monthly bill? Your Aunt Fannie who came to visit? (That's about all I know.) I'll have to add "thrush" to the list - but what's the context - "Look at the lovely thrush in that bush?" (sorry - I'll understand if I'm blocked from commenting.)

  3. @Oh no, Sister, nothing as ordinary as that! It means a yeast infection. But thrush sounds slightly less awful :)

  4. Well, duh! Over here thrush is a yeasty mouth, I just didn't put that together. Would this be a good time to say sorry your good girl's gone "pete tong?" (Learned that from Skippedydoodah.)
